Positive Sibling Relationships and Friendships

Helping Children Build Positive Sibling Relationships and Friendships
Live workshop via Zoom
Richard Halpern M.A.
Parent Counselor and Educator
Parents and Child Care Providers play a big role in teaching children how to make friends and get along with siblings.
Friend-making begins with positive play. How can we promote children to practice sharing, resolving conflict, turn-taking, and empathy? We will explore how helping young children manage emotions and work out disagreements helps to reduce sibling rivalry at home and promote friendship.
Self-regulation is key and can have life-long benefits. We will explore fun and creative ways to put it into practice at home or in school.
