Katelyn Williams was born and raised in Winston-Salem, NC where she currently lives with her inquisitive cat and husband, Rodney. Katelyn completed her undergraduate studies at Gardner-Webb University as a Psychology major and she received her Master’s in Counseling from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Katelyn is a licensed Professional School Counselor and a Nationally Certified Counselor. She spent the first few years of her professional career as a school counselor for elementary and middle school students in both Catholic and Jewish communities. During her time as a school counselor, she fell in love with supporting families and educating parents on the best ways to care for and nurture their children. In her free time, Katelyn enjoys spending quality time with her family, watching good movies, learning new things, and eating good food. Katelyn enjoys serving in the children’s ministry and the homework assistance program she launched in inner city Winston-Salem through her church. She looks forward to sharing her experiences with the parenting community at large.
