I work with caring adults who want to make sense of children’s behaviour using developmental science and conscious parenting. Many adults react with fear and urgency when it comes to addressing children’s ‘concerning’ behaviours, often at the expense of the relationship they want to have with them. When we better understand the emotions that drive children (and ourselves!) to behave in the ways we do, we’re naturally empowered to bring our actions into alignment with our heartfelt intentions and support children to grow into their full human potential. I can help you with that.
My formal training includes Education, Special Education and Psychology. I obtained my teaching qualification from the Johannesburg College of Education, my Remedial Therapist qualification from the University of the Witwatersrand and my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from the University of South Africa. I am the mother of two children, a certified teacher, parent consultant, and facilitator of courses at the Neufeld Institute in Vancouver, Canada. I’m the author of “What Young Children Need You to Know: How to see them so you know what to do for them”.
